Ася Горбачева
An old church in East Village is considered a famous landmark of a neighborhood. This place has always been supporting art initiatives and to this day it's the main arena for Poetry Project and Danspace Project. St.Marks Church is also known for giving birth to Patti Smith's rock career: it started with a poetry reading she's done here in early 70's.
