The place where Jimmy Barrett tells Don "You don't screw another man's wife. The venue rocked near the 5th from 1929 to 1965 and was the trendiest Manhattan spot. Maybe it couldn't boast intellectual patrons but a solid 14 karat gold chain at its entrance was lifted up only for the most glamorous celebs. Live music, dancing, a bar, a private party room (somewhat of a gentlemen's club) and even a barber shop. The owner gave his darlings perfume, jewelry and even cars with the Stork logo – some say one of his favorites was a US president and a politician. Then the place went bust and now there is Paley Park.
