A family-owned chocolate brand L.A.Burdick has been around since the late 80-s. Back then Larry Burdick and his wife were selling their handcrafted chocolate mice at their house. Now their business is located in Flatiron district on E 20th street and they still make these mice.
It's a great place to go on a cold winter day: get a big cup of gooey delicious hot chocolate. Try white one if you are proper sweet tooth and one of their dark specials if you are going for a sophisticated rich flavor. It's a proper hidden jam in this area, one of the best hot chocolate in the city.
