The best Lebanese place in Manhattan. The decor is posh and elegant but not kitschy – a fusion of Mediterranean traditions and NYC vibe. Great authentic food make it a hangout for the local Lebanese community. However, the hostess can be somewhat arrogant – if you don't' have a reserve can keep you wait for 15 minutes or so, even if the place is not full – the policy of the house. Waiters can seem snobbish but can suddenly praise you jewellery, hair or outfit.
