Rockaway coast is split into several parts – some beaches have regular yellow and blue dining and shopping facilities. But If you go up from 97th to 106th you will find many nice places – the popular Venezuelan eatery Caracas is one of them. So the beach is more than just sun and tan but a good dining opportunity. Caracas flagship is in East Village but its younger brother has no lines for the famous South American arepa sandwich.
