Deptford has a great number of art galleries and experimental projects: graduates of neighbouring art universities, who first started arriving here just a few decades ago, started to materialize their boldest ideas in this district. Here you will see new startup models and installations right on the streets. Now it is believed by many to become the new Shoreditch. Deptford still lacks the glitter of well-known happening boroughs of London, but if you’re looking for something fresh and off the beaten track – it is most definitely the place.
