The owners of Wood Street Indoor Market decided to freshen it up with new products, so they invited young enthusiasts and offered them a chance to open about twenty new shops. Now, next to old records, dishes and furniture you will find clothes, utensils, jewelry, ceramics, office supplies, zines, and other stuff, made by recent graduates of British art colleges. Deep inside the market there is the headquarters of my friends, illustrators Animaux Circus. I recommend you stop by their shop. There, you can get printed by hand postcards and T-shirts with bears, lions and elephants. It's much easier to get to the market than it seems. It is a five minute walk from the train station Wood Street (you can get there from Liverpool Street), and 15 minutes from the metro station Walthamstow Central.
