The OXO Tower is one of London's most iconic buildings, situated on the Southbank, it overlooks the Thames and has rather lovely views of the city. The famous windows are proof of a rebel spirit and a can-do attitude; the owner of oxo (a stock cube that appears in every cupboard in the UK) was refused a license to advertise his product on his building, he therefore commissioned the architect to design windows that could be illuminated and that would do the job for them! On the 8th floor of the tower there is a brasserie and a restaurant, both do exquisite food and have great views over the city. It is dependant on your budget which one you opt for, the restaurant is that little bit more formal and pricier whilst the brasserie is a bit livelier.
