Royal Hospital is an acting nursing home for veterans of the British army. Every May it is the venue for one of the most famous aristocratic festivals in London, Chelsea Flower Show, where gardeners and growers bring fruits of their labour from all over the world. For the rest of the year the hospital is free for visitors. Take a close look at the Great Hall and the chapel, designed by sir Cristopher Wren, an architect responsible for the majority of London's iconic buildings, including St Paul's. The hospital also has a large green area, ideal for walks in good weather.
