Nar cafe (pomegranate in Turkish) is located close to Tophane gallery (converted cannon factories). In the summer it has outside tables and in winter they serve mulled wine in blue pots and huge burgers for starving travelers. Music, pottery, books and decorations are original and charming. Though the place is not cheap (as most Karakoy venues are) it is very revisitable.
