This venue is for folks with imagination, as not everyone will recognize a bookstore in this formal-looking building by Karakoy Harbor. But an outdoor stall with great books is a tip. Though they mostly sell stuff in Turkish, you can find lots of art, photo and design albums in English for amateurs and specialists. The place is a real book-worm shelter, even the salesman is always engrossed in a book. Even if you don’t plan to buy anything (though a purchase is hard to resist) pop in for the lovely sound of pages and smell of ink.
