A great alternative to hostels. Ali owns two guest houses – an eight-room one near the Tunnel (six of them are single). They boast a living room with cozy sofa, a lovely kitchen, clean bathroom and free Wi-Fi – people spend weeks there. The second location is by the Fish Market in Beyoglu – it's smaller and has private and double rooms. Ali also rents a beautiful apartment in Cihangir which is ideal for a family – it has two bedrooms,a dining room with lots of curious stuff and ivy-covered balcony. Prices start from 20 euros per night.
