It’s a known fact that Stockholm nightclubs close at 3 am (at 5 am in rare occasions), bars – at 1 am. So what to do if you still need a drink and your friends are not ready to part? Try Lilla bar on the ground floor of Scandic Malmen Hotel in Södermalm. It is open till 2 am even on weekdays. Surprisingly it attracts more Swedes than tourists. Plus sides: Scandinavian minimalism in the interior, plenty of space for dancing, and a great selection of beer (American PBR is five times more expensive than in the US, so you might want to try affordable Anchor Steam or Dutch beer brands).
