All-you-can-eat Asian buffet is really simple – food on small plates pass your table on a conveyor belt. They have all traditional Japanese and Asian things from classic rolls to noodles, seaweed and seafood like mini octopus, shrimps, mussels etc. Everything is speedy, professional and yummy. And you would by no means leave the place underfed, so better walk a long way to be really starving. The menu is more expensive during the weekend but more upscale as well with oysters and crabs added. Lunch with a drink will cost you 9,50 euros.
Patxoca
A small cafe hidden in the lanes of Santa Caterina Market seems nothing special but claims to be agroeco which means all products are organic, local and super fresh. Their specialty is Catalan cuisine and it will cost you ten euros for a three-course meal and a drink. By the way, they have a veranda.
Norai Raval
Lunch in the Maritime Museum café is an absolute must-do. Strangely, the place is not packed at all, while a three-course fish meal with wine costs 10 euros maximum. If you get a veranda seat, the visit will be 150 percent splendid – they have orange trees and old submarines there.
Granja Petitbo
Hip folks from Paseo de Sant Joan love this trendy place for its awesome coffee, yummy brunches (people line for them) and vintage interiors. Ceilings are high, glass French windows offer great views and granpa's chairs and wooden tables are super cozy. As for lunch, you will love their generous meals made with love and fun.
Bar Oviso
Tiny but super popular place in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, in George Orwell Square, where you can hardly get a veranda table though obviously they are the best ones. Location means that it is frequented by bohemian youngsters from the neighborhood. Here for six euros you will get two courses and a dessert. The food is great and generously served.
