Actually, the cable ride opens at 11 a.m. but people start lining up already at 10:45. Trust me, it is the most impressive way to reach Montjuïc. In the morning the line goes fast: in half an hour you will already be admiring the view of the port and the sea. If you come after 11 – prepare for a two or three hour queue. Eleven euros for one-way ticket and then seven minutes of a mind blowing ride in a vintage red car, that becomes especially existing if you keep in mind that the vehicle saw its last repair in 1929.
