In the lower part of the Gothic Quarter, on Avinyó street (the one with the prostitutes who inspired Picasso for his Les Demoiselles d’Avignon), you can find many stores of local designers. There is only one vintage store among them, and it is tiny, though it has 2 floors. Laura, the owner, selects clothes for her collection on flea markets in Berlin, New York and Los Angeles: colorful cotton summer dresses, stonewashed denim jackets, leather masks decorated with glass beads, 80s style parachute pants. Voluminous outwear and woolen sweaters are in the men’s section together with the old style shirts with sharp collars and corduroy pants. If you dream about a classic wraparound grey coat with a leather belt or a small astrakhan coat – this is the place to go.
