Set in the middle of Barceloneta quarter, La Malandrina is an Uruguayan eatery, quite simple on the outside, but a nice one, with long lines of locals at the weekend. It offers a variety of grilled meat on the menu. A huge steak here costs €8 and could hardly be eaten up. The spot boasts exceptionally fresh and delicious meat and is often filled with Argentinians - those guys know a thing or two about the subject. We suggest that you take Vacio, which is grilled beef, and if you're eager to taste everything at once - order a large Asado meat platter. The interior however leaves much to be desired, or rather lacks any decoration at all - it has only five tables and a bar counter. Sophisticated types would not appreciate the spot.
