Tkachi creative space

Saint Petersburg, Russia

Dima Konovalov

Tkachi creative space is the first sign of civilization along Obvodny Canal taking a former weaving factory (tkachi comes from the Russian word for weaving) that was renovated to host exhibitions, theaters, offices and architectural workshops. It is also home to the iconic Banya Concept Store and OFF thrift with stuff from Europe and the US. The place hosted great art like Marat Gelman or Kandinsky Prize nominees.
