Yana
This cafe is so Provence and lavender that you can almost feel its sweetness in your mouth. It is ideal for a tender breakfast, with the staff so apt and invisible that they don't appear unless their presence is required, which creates a great feel of intimacy. The menu features French cuisine, sweets (try lemon cake, but avoid lavender eclairs), as well as cookies to go. For breakfast they serve home-made pastry, traditional morning meals from eggs and cheese cakes. Upon request they can bring you free jar of water with lemon and rosemary. Weather permitting, it's best to sit outside on a small terrace opposite Galina Starovoytova square.
