Soul Kitchen Junior has recently opened on Moyka and is actually the younger brother of Russia's best hostel of 2010 – Soul Kitchen, which, unfortunately, was closed in 2013. Soul Kitchen Junior has already become the Best West European hostel on hostelbookers.com. It is a fusion of all great things you could find in a hostel – comfy beds, great interiors and perfect design. It is located right by Saint Isaac’s Square, close to all sights and bars. The place consists of two communal apartments joined together – some rooms still have fireplaces (as a decoration) and you can find a pre-Revolution oven in the kitchen while the entire place is packed with vintage stuff from European fleas, bunk beds, mezzanines and a custom made coach. You can enjoy free Wi-Fi, laptops in a lounge area, free overseas calls and communal dinners and movie nights. Even if you are not staying here, pop in for a party. Rooms cost 600 RUR per night.
