This station is favored by dacha goers and romantics – all trains towards the Gulf of Finland depart from here bringing locals to the water and their country houses. In summer they are packed with people suffering from heat and female vendors trying to cool them off with ice cream and sudoku magazines, while in winter the passengers are amateur skiers, in fall – mushroom pickers bringing in the smell of dump forest and in spring look for poetic souls with a Brodsky book going to the rocks of Baltic with their flasks. Вy the way, the latter are all-season phenomenon.
Better check the schedule a day ahead as trains sometimes get cancelled spontaneously. The station is also an easy way to get to Petrogradka or Liteyny – just cross one of the bridges.
