Yana
This oasis of tranquility in the middle of Nevsky Avenue is a great spot to have a break in your sightseeing race. After a tiny obstacle of grates head to the sky-blue walls of the Armenian church with a small fountain and benches to the right side. Don't bother to bring snacks, the kiosk at the entrance sells fresh pastry, churchkhela grape and nut candy and lemonades. And enjoy opera arias – somebody in a nearby house is rehearsing or there is a music school, who knows.
