Ksenia Mardina
The Moscow region Versailles in classical style was once owned by Princes Galitzine and Yusupov and now is home to jazz - every summer it hosts Usadba Jazz open-air fest. The place has plenty to offer – the palace with a splendid park, terraces, sculptures, a small palace named Caprice, the Temple to Catherine II and the Tea pavilions, memorial columns honoring Emperors Alexander I, Nicolas I and Alexander III, the 17th century Church of Archangel Mikhail and lots more. You can ride the park in an ancient carriage or have a boat trip across the pond. People come here for a quiet day in the country and some rest amid sculptures and shadowy trees.
