Mazurin's Mansion

Moscow, Russia

Ksenia Kandalintseva

Look at the facade above the second floor: it says 1872 – the year it was built by Robert Gödicke. Bolshevik builders added two more floors, but didn't change the style. The date when this was done –1927 – is inscribed between the third and the fourth floors. In 1975-1980 the house was home to the Organizing Committee of the XXII Moscow Olympics and today it's the House of Economist.
