Lavkalavka is one of those amazing Russian projects that you want to tell your foreign friends about. Lavkalavka was founded by three friends, Alexander, Boris and Vasily, who don't have trust in conventional supermarket grocery. So originally they were looking for meat and dairy suppliers from the Moscow region just for their own families. But the idea of a local-only food grew bigger, the guys started getting orders for food from their friends and so gradually their hobby turned into a new business. In four years Lavkalavka has become a big company with two shops, one farm café and an online supermarket, selling food, household goods and even interior design items. If you see a bearded guy here, be sure that he is the Lavkalavka team member. The beard is their brand's identity.
