The name of the shop derives from a famous department store, the only place where top Soviet female celebrities and politicians' wives used buy rare and cool stuff with dollars and special cheques. So the name is the reminder of "romanticism of the deficit", the times in the USSR when people literally hunted for rare quality goods.
