Carmel has several spots with just out of the oven bourekas. Amateurs will hardly feel the difference between them but locals know the place - right by the entrance, to the right. Tel Aviv people say here they sell the best cheese, potato and spinach bourekas in town served with hard-boiled eggs, pickles, tomatoes and super yummy tomato paste.
