Tel Aviv History museum occupies a building that used to be the first city hall until 1927. Here you can see how the city evolved from being one of Jaffa’s suburbs into a noisy megalopolis and center of business, culture and modern trends. The decades of the city life are shown through visual and multimedia displays. Surprising as it may seem, but often the most interesting are family photos from private archives, reflecting the life of Tel Aviv beginning from the middle of XX century. Also go up to the 3rd floor to the cabinet of the first mayor Dizengoff and admire a great view on the square and Bialik street.
