Ira Rozina
Also known as the “dog park”, Mair might not look too attractive from the King George street. But if you enter it from another side, you will find an almost idyllic scenery: it is full of greenery and light, with water lilies in the pond and lots of kids, young people and families. The park is also popular among the gay community – there is a municipal centre for homosexuals and transsexuals and a memorial dedicated to gay victims of the Nazis. It is a starting point for an annual gay parade that has become a popular attraction of the city folks.
