This authentic Jewish bistro grew from a watermelon joint to an iconic Ashkenazi restaurant frequented by the famous poet Alexander Penn and his beloved Hanna Rovina, the legendary actress of HaBima theater and other artistic people. The menu is song of songs for connoisseurs – it has all Ashkenazi gems – chicken broth with kneidlach, aspic, gefilte fish, knishes and certainly schnitzel and goulash. Fridays are time to celebrate shabbat with songs and a vodka shot.
