Anastasia Chukovskaya
The famous book store Alexandra is located at Andrássy út 39 in a building with magnificent men figures on a secession facade. Fresco, luxurious chandeliers and moulding remind today of the first Budapest department store that used to be here previously. The top floor cafe resembles an imperial hall for balls. The ceiling was painted by Károly Lotz, the artist who did the paintings in the Parliament building.
