Frank Hearts Berlin

Berlin is a hub for creatives from all genres, but especially the scene of cutting-edge designers is very rich and diverse. Going shopping in Berlin will offer you a lot of opportunities to get your hands on very individualistic fashion from local designers, more so than in any other city. Come along on a walk on our Berlin Designer Route where you will get to know some of the best labels in town.

Esther Perbandt

Esther Perbandt is one of the most important local designers in Berlin. Her cute little store is located at Almstadtstraße close to the corner of the popular commercial street Münzstraße. The style of her collections is very smart combining very classic designs with urban and avant-gardistic details. Her clothes are mostly unisex in black or white which gives it a very sophisticated and slightly androgynous look. Especially her bold bag designs are fan favorites.

Pro QM

One of the most interesting book stores in Mitte: Pro qm. They specialize in books about design, architecture, art and pop, but also about the city and politics.

The Shit

The Shit Shop located at Rückerstraße corner of Mulackstraße is a world of its own. Founded by Berlin It-Girl and model Bonnie Strange, this place is a materialized dream of an eccentric and crazy girl with a passion for bold and daring designs. She is selling not only boys and girls designs from her own label The Shit but also other labels, mostly colorful, sexy and girly stuff. As a special treat she also has an in-store nail artist that will turn your nails into little artworks.

Butterfly Soulfire

A few steps from the corner of Rückerstraße you will find the shop of local label Butterfly Soulfire on Mulackstraße. Once you walk in, you will notice that this is not a normal clothing store but also a lair of a crazy artist. His ghostly sculptures that are based on dolls’ heads are all over the place and watch over you with every step. The fashion is quite artistic, too, both for men and women. A lot of white, black and bright blue, avant-garistic shapes, cuts and patterns. These clothes will make you look like a modern magician, but in a good way!

Baerck

The specialty of the concept store Baerck are the interior design objects and furniture from their own label llot llov that are really amazing and fit perfectly into the home of a fashion conscious person. They also have a few other interior labels, but also jewellery, accessories and fashion (menswear and womenswear). Some of the most celebrated young local fashion labels are being sold here such as Vladimir Karaleev, Hien Le and Isabell de Hillerin, but also famous Scandinavian brands such as Henrik Vibskov, Minimarket and Stine Goya.

Vektor

The shop of brand new Berlin-based label Vektor. Their styles are pretty cool, unusual but not too crazy, and most importantly: quite affordable for the most part. They also offer a few more young Berlin labels, both for men and women, along with some really interesting jewellery.

Café Lois

When it’s time for some cake and coffee, head to Louis. Right in the middle of the fashion streets of Mulackstraße, Gormannstraße and Linienstraße you will find the small understated Café Lois at Linienstraße corner of Gormannstraße. Here you can have a little afternoon aperitif, coffee or a piece of delicious cheesecake.

DSTM

DSTM is short for Don’t Shoot The Messenger and is the name of an elegant and feminine Womanswear label from Berlin. Their beautiful boutique recently moved from Zehdenickerstrasse to Torstrasse near Rosenthaler Platz. Despite the sophisticated looks their dresses and accessories are quite affordable, but the most interesting range of products they have are their tights in some amazing designs and patterns.

A.D.Deertz

It is the menswear store of local designer A.D.Deertz. Her designs are exactly the type of fashion every girl wants to see her boyfriend in: friendly colors, flattering shapes, classic designs with interesting yet understated details, shoes, shorts, shirts and chinos. All a boy really needs.

Sabrina Dehoff

The amazing jewellery of Berlin-based designer Sabrina Dehoff is going to be the cherry on top of any shopping day. Her store is located on Torstraße a little bit of a walk from Rosenthaler Platz. All the girls love her, especially bloggers are big fans of her work. The classics of Sabrina Dehoff are her chord wristbands with sailor knots or alternatively with big gem stones. If you want to take a fashionable piece of Berlin design with you, this might very well be the most iconic one you could get.
