One of the best restaurants in Berlin. Getting in is an adventure by itself. First you need to book a table by sending an e-mail to info@tausend-berlin.de. In due hour you need to ring the bell on a door with no sign and the headwaiter will open and leed you through Tausend club to Kochklub restaurant along what appears to be a back way.
The setting is rather intimate, and the waiters are simple and friendly. Don’t be scared to ask about the menu – they will be happy to help you. The food is a queer mix between Latin-American and Japanese cuisine, and the menu is full of surprises such as ice-cream with hot asparagus and summer truffle. Prices for dinner start from €40.
