In between all the renovated or new buildings in August street you will be surprised to find a little gap in between that is filled by the charming Clärchens Ballhaus. The house is a little toward the back to make room for a beer garden that is particularly charming in summer embedded in green with candles and lanterns. The rustic old house is not only used for dance parties for a more mature audience but also as a restaurant during the day. The special treat is the antique ball room upstairs that is been kept entirely in its original form. This space is opened for concerts and dinner evenings but can also be booked for private events.
