During the Prohibition, Moonshiner would have been a secret bar where people could enjoy the forbidden alcohol. The given address belongs to Da Vito pizza place, that you need to walk right through, open the refrigitator room door, walk past the food stock and behind yet another door you'll finally find this 1930s-looking bar with golden patterns on the walls, jazz music from squeaky stereo and stylish bar. The drinks menu consists of whiskey (83 varieties!) and vintage cocktails – do try Bloody Mona or a Bloody Mary with balsamic vinegar. This chic but secret bar is a rarity for Paris and a great place to have a drink after a long day or start a night of Saturday fun.
