On Rue de Paradis, behind a facade decorated with black shiny tiles, there is a new retro-futuristic bar with no sign plate on it. The bar is managed by La Clique, creators of many popular venues in Paris. A roomy hall with blue walls, a ceiling that looks like an enormous origami, vintage formica furniture and ancient arcade game machines (Pac Man, darts, babyfoot, and lots of arcades) is never empty. Daytime is for geeks who come here to play and drink beer, and hipsters who gather for a pizza, an excellent burrata and delicious cocktails from a Californian bartender. And in the evenings they open an underground club that can be unexpectedly visited by Nicolas Jaar, for instance.
